With the popularization of higher education, the proportion of female university students increases faster and faster, and the problem of harsh employment for them has also become more and more obvious. When mentioning the harsh employment for the female students, it doesn't simply refer to that the female university students cannot find a job, but to that the employers are more willing to boys than girls even under the same other conditions. So a number of female students choose to study for postgraduate as their choice when confronting to the employment pressure.If study for postgraduate is considered as an education investment, it is necessary to analyze its profit before invest to it. This essay will have an analysis on Chinese female university students'educational investment from the perspective of human capital investment. The author employs Mincerian earnings equation as the basic model to calculate the earnings of the education investment of Chinese female university students, supplemented by cost-profit analysis, and then does a research on the relationship between education and income. Based on Mincerian earnings model, considering the influence of risk factors to the education investment, we will calculate the education earnings under the uncertain conditions. According to the result from quantitative analysis, it will find out the influential factors to Chinese female university students'education investment and make an equilibrium analysis on individual education investment, then help them to make an optimum combination of investment on education according to their own circumstances.This paper is divided into six parts. The first part is an introduction which introduces the research background, significance and methods, as well as innovation and inadequacies, and also makes a general introduction to the studies of education investment both at home and abroad. The second part discusses the theoretical foundation of education investment—the human capital theory, and makes a definition about the related conceptions of individual education investment. The third part introduces the measurement methods of the individual education investment earnings, which provides method choices for the following quantitative analysis. In the forth part,based on the analysis of the present situation and causes of the Chinese female university students'educational investment,the author does an empirical analysis on the education investment of the female university students, and also a cost-profit analysis of them, by employing Mincerian earnings equation to calculate individual education investment earnings. The fifth part is the risk analysis of education investment profit. First, it gives a general introduction about education investment risk, and points out the outstanding phenomenon and the causes of the investment risk on education of the female university students. Then, it takes risk factors into Mincerian earnings model to estimate the education investment earnings under the uncertain conditions. The sixth part makes a qualitative analysis about the optimal schooling years, based on the analysis of the balance between supply and demand of individual education. At last, it proposes some policies and suggestions about education investment of the Chinese female university students.
