The Construction Of Standards Of Evaluative System About Math Study In Secondary Vocational Schools

Vocational education in China is becoming more and more important with the modernization of our society and cooperation with international society in the 21st century. However, the quality and mode of vocational school students'education have been criticized, leading to the reform of curriculum and evaluation of students'achievements in the vocational schools. The paper mainly studies the evaluation of students'math study in the vocational schools and tries to create the operative and scientific evaluative system.The paper consists of five parts: part 1 elaborates on the background, value and main research methods, making sure main parts and framework of the paper; part 2 gives the clear definition of evaluation and analyzes the existing evaluative situation of math study in the vocational schools through the literature review and study, pointing out the necessity of the study; part 3 first points out the evaluative standards of math study; decides what standards should be included in the evaluative system; designs the questionnaires considering the importance of different standards and finally calculate the weight of each standard; part 4 reliability analyzes the evaluative system; part 5 sums up and looks forward.At present, there are only a few systematic studies about the evaluation and fewer studies about the standards of evaluation about math study in the vocational schools. However, the paper makes a preliminary exploration on the question. The study is calculating the weight of standards adopting Saaty's analytic hierarchy process, through the literature review and questionnaires and under the guidance of the local experts in education, which aims at the students in the vocational schools. All these make sure that the standards of evaluative system about math study are scientific in vocational schools.
