| Teaching quality is the lifeline of a school,and teacher teaching quality evaluation is an important part of school management,which p lays a role in judging and guiding teachers’ teaching work.The research on the teaching quality evaluation system of teachers in vocational schools has a positive impact and far-reaching significance for implementing scientific teacher teaching quality evaluation,mobilizing teachers’ enthusiasm for teaching work,promoting secondary vocational schools to strengthen teaching management,improving teaching quality and teacher professional development,and realizing the sustainable development of vocational education.Taking Q Vocational and Technical School as a research case,this project summarizes the effectiveness of the school’s implementation of teacher teaching quality evaluation by using questionnaire survey method and interview method,analyzes the problems and causes of teacher teaching quality evaluation in secondary vocational schools,puts forward strategies to strengthen and improve the teaching quality evaluation of secondary vocational school teachers,and further optimizes the teaching quality evaluation system of secondary vocational school teachers.The quality of teaching should adhere to the "big teaching concept",that is,the quality of the entire teaching process,including the quality of classroom teaching and the quality of teaching-related activities outside classroom teaching.The evaluation of teaching quality of teachers in secondary vocational schools includes four aspects:teacher quality,teacher responsibilities,teacher performance and professional development,which is affected by the evaluation purpose,evaluation subject,evaluation index system,evaluation method,application of evaluation results and other factors.Surveys show that the evaluation of the teaching quality of teachers in secondary vocational schools has prob lems such as bias in the purpose of evaluation,causing psychological pressure on teachers,neglecting of the main role of teachers,and having strong subjectivity in student evaluation,withholding unclear evaluation standards,using incomplete index system,implementing imperfect organization of evaluation process,and practising unscientific evaluation methods.The main reasons for these problems include the serious tendency of teacher teaching quality evaluation management,lack of evaluation publicity and guidance,and lag with evaluation concepts and skills.According to the actual conditions of the school,secondary vocational schools may draw on the requirements for teacher teaching in the Professional Standards for Teachers of Secondary Vocational Schools(Trial),and build a teacher teaching quality evaluation system suitable for the characteristics of secondary vocational education by strengthening the purpose orientation of evaluation,emphasizing the diversification of evaluation subjects,optimizing the evaluation indicators system,standardizing the evaluation process and methods,and rationally verifying and using evaluation results. |
