The teaching and research section of elementary education is the only institution of our country, and its primary task is to research and manage the elementary education, and provide some support and service. Teaching research is the basic function of this section. It provides some basic condition for this section to support and serve the teaching. The research of this section promoted the quality of teaching, and made great contribution for the development of our country's elementary education.However, since the new curriculum reform, the teaching research of the section has highlighted a number of issues. Through research combing, this study tries to find out the insufficiency of the research. Through the interview, this study try to understand the status of teaching research of the section, and analyze the problems of the research, which still existed. The problems include: the function of the teaching research has deviated and weakened, the operation of the teaching research has isolated, the way of the teaching research has dissimilated, and the content of the teaching research is narrow and so on.This study tries to analyze the reasons of these problems in terms of the perspective of sociology, and provides a new view to regard the teaching research of the section. Based on the analysis of the issues, this study tries to provide four pieces of strategies: establish positive attitude and sense of responsibility,develop multi-level teaching research cooperation, re-examine the section's teaching research function, and build ecology teaching research network and so on. Through these strategies, this study expects to carry out the teaching research better, to provide high-quality and professional service for schools, and ultimately to promote the growth and development of students.
