So many factors of beauty are contained in mathematics that we can enjoy mathematic aesthetics everywhere. The Aesthetic Teaching of Mathematics is not only a kind of new teaching concept but also a model of teaching. Pay attention to the value of aesthetic education and to implement mathematical beauty appreciation education in the secondary school is practical and feasible. It takes on profound and lasting worthiness and signification.This study investigates some secondary school students and teachers in Shanghai on the situation of mathematic aesthetic teaching on the base of reading literature about aesthetic education of mathematics. Furthermore, the author analyses and sums up the conclusions and reasons in the purpose of providing credible information. The author probe into mathematic aesthetic teaching from both theory and practice, and designs the teaching case of mathematic aesthetic teaching. Moreover, the author undergoes a battery of experimentation of mathematic aesthetic teaching, wants to provide visible examples and recommendations for textbook writers and teachers.Basic frame and contents of the thesis:Chapter 1 study the current literature of mathematic aesthetic teaching. It summarizes related researches and raises the purpose, the measure and the significance, and the core concepts of this article with the help of other related studies.Chapter 2 discuss the implement of the mathematic aesthetic teaching, including objective and request, implement strategy and approach, and how to" improve the competence of aesthetic appreciation, and how to cultivate students' creativity.Chapter 3 introduces the design and implementation of these questionnaires. It includes the selection of the survey object, the design and statistics of the questionnaires and analysis of the investigate resultant.Chapter 4 elaborates the process of teaching designs on mathematic aesthetic and experimental research, including three classroom teaching design and one experimentation.Chapter 5 is about the opinions and suggestions about textbook writers and math teachers.
