With the deepening of reform Sports, the college sport in shanghai is moving toward pluralism and Functionalized. As a emerging sport, in-line skating include fitness, leisure and entertainment. The in-line skating is developing faster and faster since coming into china, Especially in youngsters. the big cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen are expanding as radiation point to the whole country. in-line skating is an easy-to-learn exercise, moderate quality of exercise, and also thrills. These characteristics are in line with the Psychological and Physiological of contemporary College Students. It's loved by the vast numbers of college students. At present, a lot of colleges and universities in Shanghai have skating association, and beginning to establish. They organized in-line skating activities regularly and the members' in-line skate skills are developing quickly with. It contribute a lot to the development of inline skating sports in colleges and universities.In order to enable the in-line skating depth development in college sports, The author made a questionnaire survey, interviews and visits to eight universities in Shanghai.In this paper, the author use a lot of methods such as literature, interviews, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics to make an in-depth survey of the in-line skate situation of eight universities. Finally the author finds following characteristics:1 Colleges and universities in Shanghai have a low rate in opening skating lesson. Leaders of relevant departments of the colleges and universities do not pay attention on it.they do not have a deep understanding of Quality Education and ignore the importance of skating teaching.2 The Universities in Shanghai are lack of professional in-line skating teachers, it is difficult for them to give useful guidance to skating fans.3 The skating fans are lack of the safety awareness. it shoud be worried that the association of inline skating members of Colleges and universities in Shanghai do not wear protective gear when they play. And also they should raise the awareness of road safety when they have Street rush.4 The in-line skating association of Colleges and Universities have few communication with others. some universties develop just themself.5 The in-line skating association of Colleges and Universities are lack support funding, teacher and others from Universities. Most associations or voluntary organizations need to raise fund and find fields themselves.Therefore, the author make several Countermeasures as follow:1 Strengthening the training of teacher, technology and teaching level, attract more talented teachers to join in.2 Enhance the participation of consciousness of Skating enthusiasts, to achieve life-long sports.3 The organizers of roller skating should pay attention to security problem from the security point.4 Establish mature roller skating organizations on campus to carry out various kinds of promotional activities to attract a large number of students and the surrounding in-line skating enthusiasts to participate in.5 Campus should support more on roller skating and emphasis on in-line skating curriculum, increase the input of skating equipment, introduce outstanding professional roller-skating teachers, enrich the content of physical education.
