Outstanding trainer is more and more popular and known as "golden collar" career in21st century by the rapid development of training industry. At the same time, "trainingthe trainer" course is extremely popular and very expensive, but it is not very effective. How to improve the design and implementation of "training the trainer" course, howto improve the effectiveness of the training, it has become the problem of the trainingindustry.Experiential learning is a very basic and natural way of learning. It has been got moreand more attention because of its significant effect. This dissertation uses theexperiential learning theory to improve the design and implementation of the "trainingthe trainer" course. On the basis of the experiential learning research at home and abroad, the authormake three important improvements of Kolb's experiential learning model combinewith the author's self experience. And then construct a "five segments" skill trainingmodel, it is constituted by "concrete experience", "reflective observation andsharing ", "comprehensive feedback", "abstract conceptualization" and "activeexperimentation".In order to test this training model is more effective than the traditional training in"training the trainer" core course, the author use experiment method to carry out theresearch. This research chooses the body language skills, the opening and the enddesign techniques, question and feedback techniques to make a comparison betweenthe experimental group and the control group. The author uses the "five segments" experiential training model in the experimentalgroup, and uses the traditional instruction training in the control group. After thetraining, the author use assessment tool to assess the "response level", "learninglever" and "action level" training effect. By collect and process the assessment databy the SPSS 15.0, this dissertation makes a statistical analysis of the experimentalresults. The experimental results show that "five segments" experiential training used in some"training the trainer" course is more effective than the traditional training. At the last part of this dissertation, the author makes some useful suggestions of the better use of experiential learning theory in "training the trainer" and other skill training course, for example, "balance training effect and training time," "create a more realistic context of the experience", and "the use of coach's feedback skills".
