The Study Of Teaching Workload In Under-graduated Colleges And Universities In Inner Mongolia

As the main part of Chinese higher education, undergraduate colleges and universities have become a very important department for society to transport high-level professional graduates. Accompanied by further reform of higher education, the improvement of these universities can only depend on the advance of teaching quality and the amelioration of human resource management. As the critical aspect of undergraduate colleges and universities, it is recognized that, the teaching workload management has become the key of teaching quality leap.Based on the situation of the undergraduate colleges and universities in Inner Mongolia, this dissertation focused on the teaching workload, which has very important influence on the teaching quality and the faculty management. The main results as followed: first of all, it teased out the policies and rules, related to teaching workload of higher school in our country in the past years; Secondly, it analyzed the fruits of relative study during these years and new trend in the future; Thirdly, it defined the teaching workload and differentiated the faculty workload and teaching workload; The fourth aspect, it focused on the actual status of performing teaching workload, among twelve undergraduate colleges and universities of Inner Mongolia. Then it chose some schools of them and studied the relative regulations, management, total requirements of teaching workload and the method of accounting workload. Based on these, it obtained the advantages and the disadvantages about teaching workload, and analyzed the reasons; Fifthly, according to relative nationwide statutes, it offered the basic principles that are useful for establishing more reasonable and scientific regulations of teaching workload, and some measures for improving the situation,aiming to get a more effective scheme.
