Research On Problems Of Management And Operations Of Large Sports Stadiums

Management and operations of major sports stadiums has been a worldwide problem, especially since the Second World War, Large stadiums have brought problems to Olympic Games host cities and countries to varying degrees because of its higher utilization efficiency. With the development of the national economy, China has also built a lot of large stadiums. The universality of management and operations problems for the world's major sports stadiums existed, on the other hand, China's economic system is undergoing a transformation process and development of the sports industry is immature which leads to management and operation mechanism of China's large stadiums is incompatible with the existing economic system, low degree of market-oriented and industrialization.This paper has done a thorough research into the efficient form putting of large stadiums and draw a scientific conclusion, through literature research, analysis and comparison of such methods, by using management science, economics, sports disciplines, such as study of knowledge.This paper has also studied the following issues: how Government carries out macro-management on large stadiums planning, construction, cultivating the market and so on; how individual management body of large stadiums done operations management on maintenance, repairing, marketing and other aspects of operations for the main venues of major sports. It also raises proposals on Chinese Government changing the management system that the large stadiums can not meet with the market economic system and how large stadiums to carry out effective operations on the large stadiums in confronted with the management of the main conditions of our country. I hope this article could play a role in promoting an effective solution on the issue of management and operations of China's major sports venues.
