With the rapid development of social economy and continuous improvement ofpeople’s living standards as well as people’s deepening understanding of physicaltraining, the population who participate in sports has been increasing, which, in turn,the needs for sports service has been increasingly vigorous. However, at present thesports stadium resources in our country are relatively shortage. Therefore, they cannotsatisfy the growing social needs. In our country, most of the sports resources aremainly concentrated in the education system, hence, it has become an inevitablerequirement of developing sports that school sports stadium resources open to thepublic. In our country, most of the sports population is concentrated in the cities, andin the cities, sports stadiums which have various types and perfect facilities as well asbetter services, are mainly concentrated in the universities. Therefore, there isfar-reaching significance that the university sports stadium resources open and makeutilization to the public.This study, based on the breakthrough point of optimized allocation and effectiveutilization of sports stadium resources in colleges and universities, makes aninvestigation of the current situation of sports stadiums of some universities in Anhuiprovince opening to the public and management. Therefore, we can have a betterunderstanding of the degree of opening of colleges and universities’ sports stadiumsin Anhui province, as well as their paid open policy and the present situation ofoperation and management. All of the above can help analyze its main reason for notopening to the public and its related factors of management benefit. Research resultscan provide bases for all levels of governments and management departments ofschool sports and social sports to make relevant policies, as well as lay thegroundwork for colleges’ and universities’ sports stadiums to make their open andmanagement measures management patterns. This thesis, based on the research methods of document materials, questionnairesurveys, mathematical statistics and comparative analysis as well as other researchmethods, makes the following conclusions:1. Compared with the fifth national survey of sports venues, there has been anobvious growth in the opening to the public of sports stadiums in colleges anduniversities in Anhui province. Compared to other provinces and cities, the level ofopening to the public of university sports stadiums in our province needs to beimproved.2. The main reasons of leading to the not-opening policies of our sports stadiumsin colleges and universities in our province are unsupported leadership, shortage ofspace and equipment and severe damage, interruption of normal school teaching,uncivilized behaviors of outsiders as well as the responsibility of sports injuryaccidents.3. Sports stadiums of colleges and universities in our province have a low degreeof paid-opening, and have an obviously small proportion of benefits in management,and do not have a high level of industrialization, as well as have a bigger space forindustry development.4. The opening process, has a trend of forming a higher ratio of formality thanthat of careful organization and reasonable planning.5. The main factors that affect sports stadiums in Anhui universities opening tothe public are understanding problems, responsibility problems, safety problems andfunds problems, etc.6. At present, the prices of the sports stadiums of universities in Anhui provinceare usually made by the universities, which usually lower than the market prices.There are large numbers of people who take part in the sports fitness, which means avast market. But obviously management level is low, and the marketing means aresingle.
