The relationship, between teachers and students at college, has always existed in the whole process of higher education as the key aspect. And the value among all of activities is reflected in this teachers-students relationship. However, the aims of education have varied, in view of pursuit of reason and ultimate value by the modern teachers-students relationship. It is quite difficult to inspire students'learning interests and enlighten their further thinking for scientific and ordered instruction.What is showed in the picture for the current status of teachers-students interaction at universities in Lan Zhou City? What are obstacles to overcome in the exchange of emotion? What are gaps occurred that compares to the Post-modernism prospect of teachers-students? What are the effective countermeasures that we raised to improve the teachers-students relationship? Therefore, with these questions, the action research investigates 36 teachers and 240 students at three full-time undergraduate colleges of Lan Zhou via questionnaires and interviews.Based on the six dimensionalities, such as the prospect of intercommunication, instruction, study, knowledge, students, assess, we can find that the relationship of"Knowledge imparting"with no spirit exchanges among teachers and students;"discourse hegemony"of deep-rooted teachers; ignorance of human education; rigid methods in the class; lack of critical thinking; preference for the top in the class; separation between the civilization and direction etc. indifference, disenchanted, infusion, neglect, passive, disappointment and complain, of which are the characteristics for the modern teachers-students interaction.The characteristics of Post-modernism education ideology put forward the new sense of sight for the teachers-students relationship, such as diversifying, advocating differences, claiming on equality, opening, creating, negative center and grades, critical overall and elitism which presents constructive ideas. For instance, the teacher and the student can profit from each other; reading connotation of"one teacher"; expand spirit-association of the hypothesis; critical of any authority; care of"marginal man"; inner world of the emotional communication and so on.The truth is relative. As the western imports, could it be said that Post-modernism is applicable for all? This is unavoidable that contains its loss and imitations:"knowledge commercialization"?"knowledge transaction"?"Is it the service teacher provides as the kind of"consumer goods"? What are the negative effects occurred in the teaching procedures based on this commercial relationship? Though it is important to study and promote the foreign achievement, we should dialectically view, treat and sieve the used out. Take the essence, abandon the discomfort.
