With the reform and opening policy, China had a social transformation. Meanwhile the Chinese citizens have had a accelerated stratification. During the process, the rural families are still the social disadvantaged member .Education plays an important role in modern society. The rural families'educational process is closely related with own social class background.On the macroscopic background of transition to market economy and Chinese government's marketing education product, based on a rural town in less-developed western region, the article analyzed the students'practice logic of rural families class in their educational process.Through the study and analysis in Z town's investigation and survey, based on Chinese special national institution environment and social policy, nowadays the rural families'educational choice presents the following situation: The rural families'students still drops out in a large scale during the junior middle school stage. The reason of their dropping out is that their study process meets setback. The main reason about setback in their study process is the shortage of rural family's cultural capital; secondly the national educational resource is non-balanced; thirdly the family's economical capital is a critical factor. The rural families rarely discontinue study process to their students who has promising future in school. Under the market economy, economical capital has great constraints to educational choice of rural families.As rural population has a more large proportion in China. The educational choice of rural families class will have profound impact to Chinese society. Reform in educational field relies on social reform. Therefore the paper points out that we should think the governments'role of"night watchman"in education. Equality in education should be our objective of educational policy and social policy. The state should suppress"the social stratum reproduction"function of educational institution. The state should also exert its"social shock absorber"function.
