On The Relationship Between Villages In The Circle Of Worship For Fubo God

The belief of Fubo God is a kind of folk beliefs that is very popular in Linnan. In recent years, as the main god of Fubo God, Ma Yuan has got more and more attention, with the expendsion of research scope and the further research of connotation, it has gradually become a hot point of folk beliefs in Lin Nan.The Fubo God Temple in Wu Lei village, Qin Zhou City is one of the existing oldest temples in Guang Xi now. The main god for sacrificing is Ma Yuan, the famous general in East-Han Dynasty.The paper takes Fubo God Temple in Wu Lei as an example, through literature collecting and field survey, analyzing the reason that the circle of worship is shaped in Wu Lei. During the period of field survey, taking Wulei and Sanniang villages as examples, the paper further describes the sixty-year history of the communication between the two villages after liberation and the villagers'sacrifice rites through the ways of participant observation,in-depth interview and random interview. In 2000 to 20001, the Fubo God temple was rebuilt, the villagers had wide communication and cooperation,"Fubo God belief"has the obvious fuction of integration.Through analzing the integration and functions of Fubo God belief, the paper makes a conclusion that the folk belief integrates the relationship of villages through broadcasting the same view of value,creating collective activity of villages and offering the sacred communication space.
