Research On Using The Information Technology To Promote University Students' Deep Learning

Nowadays, many learners haven't get a substantive effect in the informationize environment, They regard the information technology as a tool which appears information, they are in surface learning when they learn with information technology. How to use the information technology to promote University Students'Deep Learning turns to be a realistic project. Based on the related research at home and abroad, this thesis puts forward hypothesis on "promoting deep learning by information technology ", and construct a strategy following the thesis and characteristics of deep learning and the functions of information technology. In my research, literature review and questionnaire are adopted. The thesis consists of six chapters.Chapter 1:Introduction. After analyzing the research background and the development of relevant researches about deep learning all around the world, this chapter expounds research significance and research methodology explicitly.Chapter 2:Information technology and deep learning. This chapter deals with the concept of information technology, and explores the functions, advantages and kinds of information technology. Meanwhile, It introduces the connotations and characteristics of deep learning, which making learners have a total comprehension to deep learning, and discusses the theoretical fundamentals of using the Information Technology to promote Deep Learning, which contains the constructivist learning theory, Cognitive Flexibility Theory, Distributed Cognition Theory and Affordance theory.Chapter 3:A Case Study and Analyses for Applying Information Technology. This chapter analyzes the case of University Students'learning and applying Information Technology through the data from a case study.Chapter4:The strategies of using Information Technology to promote University Students'Deep Learning. This chapter advances strategies of using Information Technology to promote University Students'Deep Learning on the bases of the results of study and theories of Information Technology and deep learning. It also expounds the Learning styles of deep learning and the requirements of deep learning to learners.Chapter5:Conclusion This chapter summarizes the excellences and imperfections of this study, and points out the future researches.
