This paper attempts to apply the theory and technology of task analysis to classroom teaching in China primary and secondary school, in order to enable teaching to conform further to the law of learning and teaching.In this paper, it's assumed that there are some problems in the process of instructional design in primary and secondary schools, especially in the phase of instructional task analysis. In the first chapter, the development of task analysis and the idea of the paper were introduced. In the second chapter, the methods and techniques of task analysis were introduced. In the third chapter, I selected the teachers'lesson plans in the city of Ji'an as the sample, analyze the lesson plans and interview teachers, and learn the three issues at the stage of instructional task analysis as following: (1) classification of teaching outcomes is not classification; (2) lack of analysis of the students; (3) the description of the level of the teaching target is not obvious. In order to resolve those problems, analyze those problems from three fields: the analysis of teaching objectives, the analysis of the students, and the analysis of the teaching level.In this paper, by methods of documentation and investigation, the problems in the process of teachers analyzing the instructional task is studied. Through analyzing the case, learn the instructional task analysis:(1) help teachers to definite the entry competencies of students(2) help teachers to identify the teaching points(3) help teachers to determine the order of teaching(4) help teachers to choose the adapt teaching strategies.For the small size of sample, there is the problem of a un-thorough analysis. But the purpose of the study is to enable teachers to understand the instructional task analysis and analyze the instructional task. I hope this study will help to improve the level of teachers'instructional design, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of teaching.
