The present paper focuses on the implementation of task-based approach, aims at English Listening Teaching Strategy in junior high school。The author compares an experimental class with a regular class, we get the result that it is necessary to redesign the listening teaching methods according to the current listening level of students. And we advocates a "task-based" teaching model, design the classroom listening tasks for the students, assign the after-school job to the students in the experimental class and a regular class then we get the scentific statistics so that we can provide the theory and experience for secondary schools'English listening teaching. As for the students, we hope that they can understand fully and deeply the nature of listening comprehension , try to remove barriers in English listening , have the active and positive attidude towards the English listening so they can make great progress in English listening with the help of teachers in the process of listening comprehension strategies training . As for teachers ,we should improve our specialized level and teaching level because it is the key to the successful class listening teaching.At the same time we should help the students establish the confidence with themselves .In order to make them be interested in English listening,the teachers can make fully use of the modern teaching equipments which can provide the image and the sound .Teachers should choose the appropriate material for the students to practise the diologues and cultivate their ability of summarizing the main ideas of the news and articles, encourage the students watch more foreign movies so that they can understand the different culture background and broden their vision. At the same time teachers should pay attention to imroving the students'pronunciation and intonation.The article has five chapters all together.In the first chapter,comment on the background and significance of the topic; in the second chapter, introduce the theories and methods of the listening teaching,analyze the defination, nature,process and methods of listening comprehension; in the third chapter, analyze the current English listening teaching in junior high school from the aspects of the teachers, students, teaching aprroches and teaching materials; in the forth chapter,analyze the task-based approach and its design which includes the concept ,types and characteristics. It also comment on the design principles and the detailed design. The fifth chapter is the experimenting and studying process and summarize the result of the experiment and discuss the change role of teachers.
