Reading instruction is a traditional Chinese language learning method, the current status quo of teaching reading is not optimistic. I will try to examine the contemporary high school students improve reading instruction in the language literacy problems. Focus on teaching reading to explore the specific implementation of the strategy, trying to read the teaching evaluations from the perspective of an innovative point, thereby enhancing literacy in the language of contemporary high school students to gain something.This paper is divided into three parts.Part I: reading the language of teaching literacy to enhance the practice of contemporary high school students motivation. Define the content of high school language literacy, reading back the teaching of history, analyzing the context of the new curriculum demands of teaching reading and research the status of teaching high school students read.Part II: reading contemporary high school students to upgrade the teaching language literacy implementation strategies. To explore how to provide reading platform; to diversify reading training, the formation of the system of teaching works; for personalized reading, to achieve diversification of evaluation methods.Part III: upgrade the teaching of reading literacy in the language of contemporary high school students the practical effect. Of reading instruction in language learning to stimulate students interest in the promotion of students to master basic language knowledge and proficiency of language skills, and enrich the language of the accumulation of language learning to help students develop good habits, promoting language teaching has a positive value.
