Informating community has made new demands. To enable students with the self-learning ability, the life-long learning ability,the innovate ability,the inquisite ability and Information Literacy has become the important goal of modern education in order to meet the needs of fast-growing information. Language teaching of high school, as an important part of the education, also has many new features and new mission in the new situation. To enhance information literacy of high school student is the objective need of the modern language education concept, the curriculum concept and the learning concept.This article consists of four parts. In the first part, I analyzed and summarized the concept and connotation of Language Information Literacy on the basis of the Information Literacy Education research at home and abroad. In the second part, according to my own understand of the Language Information Literacy connotations, I designed a questionnaire, conducted an investigation, analyzed the Language Information Literacy status of present high school student. In the third part, combined with the new requirements and the new changes which brought about by modern information society on the education, I analyzed the necessity and feasibility to enhance Information Literacy of the high school student. In the fourth part, combined with language study, I put forward five areas of the strategy as to how to enhance Information Literacy according to my years of exploration , practice and thinking.
