Objective: To explore the relationships between internet communication motivation and internet behavior feature of college studentsMethod: To use questionnaire and interview methods. The college student's internet communication motivation and internet behavior questionnaire includes 18 questions: which contained two second-order factors: instrumental and social communications, and which contained 5 first-order factors:to gain information, to assist self's studies , to be convenient for life , to express emotion and to affirm oneself. The results showed that the questionnaire possesses good reliability, content validity , structure validity and criterion validity. "The college student's internet communication behavior scale" includes 7 dimensions: online place, online time, online motivation, online content, internet interpersonal relationship, internet dependence and online self evaluation , which are altogether 30 projects. It indicates the questionnaire possesses good reliability. It indicates the scale posse's good structure validity.Result: 1.College students internet communication motivation mainly includes to gain information , to expresses emotion , to affirms oneself, to be convenient for life and to assists self's studies.The college students internet communication motivation posses extremely notable gender and specialized subject differences and displays the unbalance and the difference on the grade .2.The need of intimate friends becomes very important for college students and they can already grasp internet intercourses and become skilled in using them.The sex psychology development of most college students is healthy, and they can abide by the social moral norms offline and online. The sincerity degree is lower in internet communication activities.There are notable differences for boy and girl college students' cognition and behavior in internet communication activities, and there are some differences in internet communication activities and psychological experiences.3.The diversities of internet service can satisfy different usage motivation for different approach , and there is a notable relevance for different network motivation and different usage behavior.
