Network is a double-edged sword,which has both positive and negative effects on individual behavior.In cyberspace,the behavior of junior high school students is also susceptible to interference from external factors,showing different characteristics.In this study,742 junior high school students in a middle school in Yunnan Province were selected.They were investigated by self-compiled Questionnaire on Internet Use Motivation of Junior High School Students,Questionnaire on Internet Self-efficacy of Junior High School Students and Questionnaire on Internet Altruistic Behavior of Junior High School Students.The content of this study is junior high school students' motivation to use the Internet,network self-efficacy and network altruistic behavior,and through the questionnaire survey results to explore the relationship between the three.In the study,the performance of junior high school students in cyberspace is understood from the aspects of sex,whether they are only children,grade,age of Internet and average length of time spent on Internet in a week.The conclusions are as follows:(1)There are significant gender differences in the total scores of Internet support,Internet guidance,emotional experience motivation and Internet use motivation among junior high school students of different genders.The total score of male students in network guidance,emotional experience motivation and network use motivation is significantly higher than that of female students,and the total score of female students in network support is significantly higher than that of male students.(2)Whether it is an only child or not,there is little difference among junior high school students.(3)There are significant differences in the motivation,self-efficacy and altruistic behavior of junior high school students in different grades,and their scores increase significantly with the increase of grades.(4)There are significant differences in the motivation,self-efficacy and altruistic behavior of junior high school students with different Internet age,and their scores increase with the increase of Internet age.(5)There are significant differences in the total score of altruistic behavior,self-presentation motivation,emotional experience motivation and self-efficacy of e-mail among junior high school students in terms of the average length of Internet access in a week.Except that the self-efficacy score of e-mail reached its maximum in 7-14 hours,the scores of other items increased significantly with the increase of the average time spent on the Internet in a week.(6)The junior high school students' network self-efficacy can only have an indirect effect on the network altruistic behavior,but children can only indirectly affect it through the motivation of using the network.The motivation of junior high school students' Internet use plays an intermediary role between Internet self-efficacy and Internet altruism.
