Mathematics curriculum, requirements and teaching schedule have changed because of the basic mathematics education reform. So students' mathematical quality will inevitably change. This paper aims to discuss high school students' the basic concepts of mathematics learning situations after the curriculum reform and make suggestions based on the findings as a follow-up study of teaching and reference.High school students come into contact with trigonometric functions which is the first of a many-to-correlation function. Trigonometric functions is an important part of high school mathematics and there is a greater change in teaching content. In this paper, concept teaching is an entry point trigonometric functions, select students and teachers in a 2011 session of the high school as an object of study, and collect information through questionnaire surveys and interviews, etc. Research tool is the pretest and post-test questionnaire compiled by researcher which is to learn the concept of trigonometric functions. Under the guidance of the definition of representation and the duality theory of mathematical concepts, focus on students' learning conditions. This paper will study:â‘ After the implementation of the new curriculum standards, high school students how to understand an arbitrary angle trigonometric (including teachers' views on the status of students' learning);â‘¡What are the main prior knowledge which affect high school students in the understanding of the concept of an arbitrary angle trigonometric functions. The findings: Students understand and characterize the concepts mainly through representation; There is still a gap away from the teacher's request on the promotion of the function and angle and the cognition of the concept of an arbitrary angle trigonometric functions, especially in the understanding of the nature of arbitrary angle trigonometric; The promotion of angle and function concept are the necessary conditions for learning the sine function; The new curriculum reform have a certain impact on students' mastering the concept of trigonometric functions. This paper also discusses students' learning situations. They are:â‘ Attaining concept is to form appropriate representation.â‘¡The knowledge of function and the concept of arbitrary angle have a greater impact on grasping the concept of the trigonometric functions.â‘¢We should give students enough time to reflect in order to strengthen self-examination abstract.
