Textbooks are the conveyers of the curriculum and the educational reformation. Based on the basic idea and requirements of the new curriculum, curriculum, new Mathematics experimental teaching materials are prepared throughout the whole county. Two editions of textbooks What is the difference? What are the characteristics of their respective? What are the success and shortcomings? Discussion on these issues on China's reform and mathematics curriculum materials for the preparation of the future have far-reaching significance.This paper is mainly to contrast and study the contents of the trigonometric functions of the mathematics textbook (A version)by People's Education Press(PEP) with those of the mathematics textbooks(Compulsory Course4) by Jiangsu's Education Press(JEP), using documentation method, comparative analysis and statistical analysis.Firstly, from a macroscopic perspective, the author tries tO compare the similarities and differences between PEP and JEP, focusing on compiling teaching materials, compiling features, contents, organizational structures, teaching arrangement, teaching capacity and the order of presentation of the knowledge and so on.Secondly, the author compares the difficulty of the curriculum by means of the method of quantitative analysis.Thirdly, the author carefully compares the number and type of the example problems and exercises in two textbooks.Lastly, by comparing and studying what we and is as follows:1. The same design concept of the two teaching materials is, establishing the concept of trigonometric model, highlighting the concept of geometric intuition, paying attention to the concept of geometric intuition, paying attention to the concept of the cultural Values of mathematics and the concept of focusing on combining the content of the mathematics textbook with that of information technology.2. A copy of this mathematics textbook has better penetrate human thoughts. Two versions are so lively. Their question questioning way and content of study has a strong affinity. They can help student active consider through questions of the textbook. They also can help to train the thinking ability, excitate the students's study desire and interest of study, cultivate the ability of independent thought.3. The difference between the contents of two editions of textbooks is reflected in:the difference of the definition of trigonometric functions of an arbitrary angle and the differences of the example problems and exercises in the two kinds of textbooks.Meanwhile, put some observations and recommendations.The research above enables teachers to acquire precise grasp to the spirit of the new curriculum. It also enables teachers to get rid of the dependence on new teaching materials. In such a way, instead of passing the content of teaching materials, teachers can redevelop teaching materials and use them creatively in a personalized way to generate a Variety of teaching content.
