In the era of knowledge economy, the information available to us is growing exponentially, knowledge and innovation have become important capitals to survive. The meaning and form of learning is becoming more abundance with the development of technology. The informal leaning is not simply known as a kind of complementary leaning, it becomes more and more important in our process of catching knowledge. At the present time, most researches on informal learning focus on vocational training and continuing education of adults, only few researches are about primary and secondary school students who are at the age of learning new knowledge and cultivating variety capacities. Informal leaning just can be used as a complementary form of school education to facilitate their all-round development and personality development. As a result, research on informal learning of primary and secondary school students stares us in the face. This article mainly focus on promotion strategy about informal learning of primary and secondary school students in one-to-one technology enhanced learning environments.The author firstly read lots of books and articles about informal learning inside and outside, then made a definition of primary and secondary school students'informal learning according to other scholars'definitions on informal learning. Moreover, this article summarizes the status quo of informal learning inside and outside. Based on analyzing the necessity of informal learning, the author surveyed the status quo of primary and secondary school students'informal learning by questionnaire, found that their informal learning capacities need to be improved, then analyzed the feasibility of facilitating informal learning by one-to-one technology enhanced learning environments. This study relates to three schools in Shanghai which equipped one-to-one technology enhanced learning environments. Parts students in these schools have the chance to use these devices. The author collected a lot of teaching cases and students feelings by long time observation and some chats. Some of these cases are selected to be analyzed because they are highly relative to this study. The author analyzes these selected cases using content analytical method to explore some effective strategies to promote primary and secondary school students' informal learning in one-to-one technology enhanced learning environments. Consequently, giving some guidance and advices for teachers to promote students'informal learning.
