The individual values in middle school students are the core of ideological and political quality, which plays a vital role in the overall healthy development of students. Especially senior secondary school students are in a very special stage: contradictions in more physical and mental, emotional instability, facing the pressure of studies and careers and so on. Schools, families and society have underestimated the education of high school students'values due to all kinds of pressure, so it is the very most important thing to strengthen the education of high school students'values when we cultivate values in high school students. At the same time, the knowledge of Marxist theory tells us that awareness is the dynamic reflect of the subject to object, which is from practice and counter-productive in practice. Values as an area of epistemology, which change with the social development and the change of objective circum-stances. At present, the rapid changes in our country is in a period of social transformation, the formation of pluralistic values in society, which gives a serious blow to the socialism core values that the mainstream values of dominant position. Therefore, such a complex social environment of contemporary presents high school students more severe challenges. It is the request of the history and the call of the times to correctly understand and handle the current characteristics of the times, directly face the problems in the values of high school students, Carefully and objectively analyze its causes, actively explore strategies of the values education among secondary school students and improve the effectiveness of values education. This paper will try to make a preliminary discussion on this problem.This article, based on the social transition period, taking Marxism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and""The Three Represents"-- the important thoughts as instruction; Taking the socialism core value as the foundation; With the starting point and destination of strengthening the high-school student values education, guiding and training the high-school student on their own initiative to set up the correct values, after narrating and commenting the profits from the domestic and foreign research results in the foundation, which proposes some its own ideas to high-school student's values education by synthesizing philosophy, sociology, ethics, psychology and other related humanities and social science knowledge and the ideological and political education theory.The paper further elaborates the important position to cultivate the values education in high-school students'Ideological and political education, which bases the chacteristics of a high school student groups, such as the rapid physical and mental development, the improved cognitive development and the contradictory of psychological development and so on. And takes this as the breakthrough point, strengthening the necessity of raising high-school students'values in the transition period.Under the premise of recognizing the need for values education, I issued 1400 questionnaires to 4 High Schools in Heze City, Shandong Province and investigated them. During the process, I also use the software spss10.0 to analyze the 1263 valid questionnaires for data analysis. Through the questionnaire analysis, on the basis of actual performance in describing high-school student's life values, political values, economical values, moral values, love values and ecological values, this paper summarizes the characteristics of high school students high school students'values in transition period, which are the value main body self-awareness strengthens, the value choice multiplication, the value orientation utility, the value idea modernity, the behavior orientation and the value cognition present the deviation and so on. Then analyzing the present situation of high-school student values in transition period and reason of these characteristics thoroughly from these aspects: globalization, multiculture, new technological revolution, market economy, education mission distortion, high-school student own factor and so on.On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of high school students values transition values and the reasons, does this article discuss the main principles which the cultivation of high-school student values needs to follow in transition period, namely, the principle of subjectivity, the principle of the dialectical unity of individual orientation and collective orientation, the principle of reasonable balance between a Yuan value guidance and the multi-dimensional value orientation, the unified principle of the spirit of science and the humane spirit, the principle of the unity of knowledge and action and so on. And discussing a concrete way for the values education from the following aspects: the overseas advanced experience, the ramming values education theory, the optimized values education social environment, keeping the school values education dominant position, paying more attention to the family education as well as high-school student self-education and so on. The article put forward some ideas on the training of high school student values, which further enriches the high-school student values theory and the values education theory, but the values cultivation will change along with the practice development. Thus, high-school student's values raise is a dynamic topic,which needs to constantly enrich and push forward.
