| The World Women's Artistic Gymnastics was set up in the 9th Olympics in 1928 by more than the 80 years of development during the course, there have been numerous times change and development,and in the 15th Olympics the four kinds of the women gymnastics were formally determined,including vault,uneven bars,balance beam and floor.In this paper the women gymnasts in the world who had been awarded the medals of individual all-around,vault,uneven bars,balance beam and floor in the Olympics and the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships duringl952 to 2009 are the subject which has been investigated by use of the methods of literature sources,mathematics statistics,logic analysis,analysis comparison so as to induce the varying feature of the excellent fem-gymnasts ages since 1952,We can not only integrated reveal the varying feature of the excellent fem-gymnasts ages and developing trend,but also provide the useful information of methodology for the other sports programs to study the varying feature of the athletes ages,otherwise we can provide some of evidences in the theory and valuable reference details for the scientific selection and rational training arrangement of the following excellent fem-gymnasts.The results of study have shown that first the ages of gymnasts who win the fem-gymnastics medals were concentrated among 13 to 35 during 1952 to 2009,and the feasible ages of the fem-gymnasts were mainly concentrated among 16 to 19, with the variety of sports programs and periods,there are differences in the awarded gymnasts ages,and there are the obvious varying features of time and programs. And second the varying times features of the gymnast ages were mainly reflected on somewhere in which the fem-gymnasts who win the medals emerged the varying trend to be younger at first and then to be older from the analysis on integrated varying trend of the average age of gymnasts;According to the analysis on the varying ages of the main awarded fem-gymnasts in the different periods,the main awarded fem-gymnasts were oldest during 1952 to 1964,whose ages were among 27 to 31,but the main awarded fem-gymnasts were among 16 to 18 during 1966 to 2009;And from the analysis on their standard deviation,the extents of their discrete ages gradually become low during 1952 to 1995,but their standard deviation suddenly grew large during 1996 to 2009,it revealed the trend that the extents of their discrete ages were increased.Third,the programs features of the varying femgymnasts ages were mainly reflected on the general character at first:from the analysis on the common varying trend of the ages of fem-gymnasts who engaged in different kinds items,there was a phenomena that the ages of awarded gymnasts suddenly reduced at first,then it increased within a small range.Second on the individual character:from the analysis on the average ages of the awarded fem-gymnasts,the gymnasts of individual all-around,vault,uneven bars,balance beam and floor were younger in turn;From the analysis on the frequency distribution of their ages,during 1952 to 2009,the age ranges of gymnasts in individual all-around,vault,uneven bars were the same,they were mainly concentrated among 16 to 18,but the of gymnasts in balance beam and floor were also the same;from the analysis on the extents of their discrete ages of the awarded fem-gymnasts,the gymnasts of balance beam,floor,vault,uneven bars,individual all-around were younger in turn.Fourth,the comparison analysis on the game feature:within any kinds of fem-gymnastics programs,there are less number of games holding,less number of gymnasts engaged in games,less amount of awarded countries,less amount of awarded gymnasts,less amount of total medals in the Olympics than in the World Tournament.From the analysis on the span of the awarded gymnasts,the awarded gymnasts were among 15 to 35 in the Olympics and 13 to 32 in the World Tournament.From the analysis on the age of the awarded gymnasts,they were among 16 to 20,but 16 to 19 in the World Tournament.
