Sports event are the most active and the most influential part in sports field. Successful sports events, not only to meet the needs of the people's appreciation, but also promote the development of peripheral industries, to the event organizers, sponsors and so provide a good profit and publicity channels, awareness of mass sports, the sports industry development and so have a great promotion. Brand sport event in addition to general sports events have the characteristics, it also has its more obvious characteristics, with a strong vitality, more than general sports bring greater benefit.The purpose of this thesis through the features of brand science aimed at analyzed and discussed the characteristics of brand sport event. By describing the Beijing existing social, economic conditions and historical opportunity and empirical analysis of China Open held in Beijing to discuss the reasons and process for the formation of Beijing Brand Sport Event, for Beijing to build brand to create "international sports centre city" lay a good theory, for our sports events to provide reference for brand development.This thesis used the literature material law, observation, questionnaire, statistics, empirical analysis such as integrated research method and mainly studies content and results are as follows:1 Combination of brand science theory, Brand sport event is more significant than the general characteristics of sports event. Uniqueness is the essence of the brand sport event, which is the charm of the brand competition; secondly, sport brand event have a certain stability to guarantee the recognition. Long-term, stable in a certain brand of regional events organized to play its flag effect.2 The support of the government and relevant departments, the city a good infrastructure, rich cultural heritage, security capable, experienced competition events such as the brand is essential for the formation of external factors. Meanwhile, the event has good ornamental value and higher competitive value, the participation of athletes have a high level of competition and a strong influence, event organization and management are good at packaging and market competition. Because of the combination of internal and external, is formed in the condition of brand sport event.3 The successes of the Olympic Games held in Beijing to the development of sports events have brought new opportunities. Improve the urban infrastructure from the beginning to the various standard sports facilities and the corresponding facilities, the positions of personnel quality sports training and nation-wide enthusiasm, etc, all this has laid a good foundation for formation of Beijing brand sport event.4 Through the China Open Empirical analysis shows that, China open in Beijing is to establish a good external foundation and the historical opportunity on, after six years of operation, China Open has gradually raise the level of competition, to improve the competitive game, entertaining, began efforts to deepen the connotation of its own brand.
