The Study Of Luo Jialun's Higher Education Thoughts

Luo Jialun(1897-1969),was a famous Chinese educator of modern times, a pioneer who developed our modern times higher education. He was engaged in higher education all self s life, once successively taught in Tsinghua University, Zhongyang University twelve years in all, the university who has participated in a great quantity reforms an activity, is that the ideal realizing higher education is all out. In the process of long range go in for higher education practice, refoming his unique higher education thoughts,including his founding-school thoughts, viewpoints on teachers, training-students thoughts, and the thoughts of managing-educates. Luo's higher education thoughts have the important historical role on close modern Chinese higher education history. Studying Luo Jialun's higher education thoughts,not only can provide certain model for the development of the modern higher education in our country,but also can be beneficial to deepen our research of the history of higher education, boost our country higher education health developing.This dissertation consists 4 parts:The preface gives an introduction of the reason in selecting topic of this dissertation, sums up ancient study production,and then, on the basis points out the shortage of ancient studies and the innovation of his study, introduces the thinking and method of this study summarily.The first part of the body introduces simply the background of Luo Jialun's higher education ideas.We analyze how his thoughts is formed,mainly from two sides:one is social background and the other is his personal educational and life practics,in order to build the base for revealing Luo Jialun's higher education thoughts.The second part of the body the main content of Luo Jialun's higher education thoughts.In the field of the Taoist temple running a school, he emphasizes that handling university's purpose is Academic independence and organism of national culture; In the field of research Taoist temple, he emphasizes that research is the soul of the University; In the field of talented person Taoist temple, he thinks that essential points is striction and friendly affection.
