Tao Xing-zhi is the greatest educator of people in our mordern history, he devoted his whole life to the education of people. During the recent 30 years of education practice, he carried on the essence of China's traditional education on the base of critization, and absorbed the advanced ideas of the thoughts of western mordern education, created the systerm of thoughts of moral construction which not only adjusted to the situation of China but also accorded with the development of mordern society. Tao Xing-zhi's thoughts of moral construction occupies a very important position in the whole area of thoughts of education, no matter in the past or now, or in the future, it'11 cause great infuluence to the moral construction of China.Because of the historical limitation of Tao Xing-zhi's time that he lived, obviously, there is some shortcoming in his thoughts of moral construction. But, what's the most important to the work of our mordern college student's moral construction is how to overcome the weaknesses, carry on and develop the positive part of it, then, it'11 be a nice guide to our work. On the base of this idea, the essay mainly use this ways such as study of documents, comparison and summary of experiences to explain, and the essay list the thoughts of Tao Xing-zhi's moral construction systematically, analyze the shortcoming of the work of mordern college students'moral construction objectively, on the base of shortcoming and according to the ralative theory of thoughts of Tao Xing-zhi's moral construction, then try to find out proper ways and good strategies to deal with the concrete problems positively.
