At present, the performance of the major moral issue in the family is that: the development of moral education and intellect education is imbalance, parent lacks of education standards, regulation by others is more important than self-discipline in the habit of behavior. These problems are rooted in moral education in the family. In the family parents are living in the dominant position, not to mobilize the initiative of children. The children are in a passive situation. The key of resolve the problem of moral education in the family is implementing self-education.Moral self-education in the family is that children can form a correct understanding of the moral status under the guidance of parents, can bring forward a new ethical requirement which is adapted to social development.Under the guidance of the new ethics requirements they can make self-supervision, self-control, and self-regulation and achieve the desired goal, and then they evaluate themselves with their evaluation and form a new ethical awareness. The process of moral self-education in the family is a self-rising cycle, including self-awareness, self-demand, self-practicing, self-evaluation.The ability of self-education is not inborn to the children. The ability is growing up. It is a conscious state, that is, self-education-oriented. Therefore, in the moral education in the family, parents should take the child's self-education as the main body and give them effective guidance. Parents should optimize the family environment, enhance the awareness of children's self-education, strengthen the correct guidance, help children to complete the entire process of self-education, and gradually formed the capacity of self-education.Moral self-education in the family is according as Marxist theory of the productive forces and contradictions theory. It is a concentrated expression of the main principles of the moral education. People's comprehensive development theory of Marxist theory provides the ultimate goal of self-education. Implementing moral self-education in the family not only is a necessary for the development of educational theory, but also is an impersonal demand to cultivate innovative talent in today's society and to solve the problem of moral education in the family.
