| Present paper gives a thorough analysis on the function and status of the multimedia in music education from the education applicational angle. It takes a complete reserach on the practice and application of multimedia methods in music education and points out its advantages and disadvantages in the teaching practice, comparing with other teaching methods all-sidedly. So we can say that the paper present is a systemically special analysis in primary school music teaching.On the basis of analysis on the multimedia application in primary school nowdays, the paper gives a thorough illustration from technology and experience, including the courseware exploration and designing process on the foundation of teaching practice.The paper also discusses about the multimedia function in music classes according to the teachers and students' angles.
