Extra-curricular reading is able to highlight the dominant position of students, to help with their study initiative effectively, and to facilitate having deep spiritual experiences in reading materials full of personality and creativity.It is of great significance to effectively carry out extra-curricular reading, when we consider expanding the field of language learning, strengthening the practice of language study and realizing the objectives of language courses. During the promotion of extra-curricular reading, we have found the basis of Reading Grade Testing System. Based on the idea of respecting individual differences, this topic summarizes the personality evaluation index system of extra-curricular reading in our school, and comments on the Reading Grade Testing System.Through popularizing the Reading Grade Testing System, we ignite students'enthusiasm for reading, encourage them to reading extracurricular materials continually, and enhance the development of all students'literal ability.At the same time, we also discover some problems in the process of the system and propose solutions on these issues. The full text is divided into four parts. The first section provides an overview of development of extra-curricular reading in domestic and foreign areas. The second section describes the launching of the Reading Grade Testing System in our school.In the third part, we summarize our experience by analyzing the process of the system.In the fourth part, we offer solutions to the problem we met and explore the field of extracurricular reading in primary schools.
