With the rapid development of information technology, E-learning portfolio(ELP) plays an increasingly important role in the field of education, it is not only an evaluation tool, but a personalized learning platform. The application of ELP breaks up the traditional teaching model, it plays a very significant role for the change of in teaching methods, learning methods, technology applications and personalized needs of learners. ELP applies to primary and secondary education in our country more and more widely, but the College of ELP research and application that have not yet started, colleges and universities as knowledge-intensive organizations, lack of effective management of knowledge in the current, it is difficult to adapt to a knowledge based society's needs. So based on the design of ELP, we design and develop a model of knowledge management(KM) which suit colleges users'study is a realistic attempt.This thesis mainly used the literature research and rapid prototyping method. First, the research interpreted ELP's concept foundations, the theoretical basis and the educational significance, as well as a more detailed explanation of the definition of KM. Based on the study of the ELP, it discussed the value of KM application the in the field of higher education, and to addressed the implementation of College Learning Organization knowledge sharing and innovation and so on. Secondly, the thesis tried to design and development a study management platform for Colleges and Universities user groups in practice. With the theory of KM, it designed the E-learning portfolio system(ELPS), including user groups needs, the main function modules, database and system framework, and then developed the ELPS at the basis of previous.The thesis is divided into the following six parts:The first part introduced the background, purpose significance and methods of the research.The second part introduced the ELP and its related concepts, characteristics, history of development and educational significance of a detailed description, particularly in ELP's current situation. then to analyze the limitations and table a proposal.The third part introduced the KM theory. It analysised the necessity of KM in colleges, the meaning of the KM for ELP and the relationship between KM and ELP .It demonstrated ELP's Design and development of Colleges and Universities on the View of KM is favorable.The fourth part is the focus of this study, it mainly designed the ELPS with the theory of KM. According to the user groups needs ELPS carried out in accordance with the main function modules of the system design, builded out a system structure, function of the overall model framework, and the detailed design of function modules of the internal processes and structures, finally, this part to clarified the entire workflow system.The fifth part is ELPS's system development stage, including selection of development tools, the system of establishing the technical framework, the core of knowledge management technology, the main functions of the system implementation process modules. In addition, it tested the whole system at times, eliminated some kinds of wrong.The last part summarized the main ideas of this thesis, the creation and the disadvantages of the research, and brings forward the directions of the post- research. Based on Rational analysis ELP's limitations in Research and Application in the current. This thesis propos KM theory and ELP together, helps the colleges users to resolve the issue of knowledge sharing and innovation, this is the ELP research and application in Colleges and Universities a new try. It designs the ELPS system structure and function of the overall framework model, and the design of each module in detail Analysis. It also will be thinking of the design and implementation of programmers to the development of practice, using Dreamweaver software as the development tool, based on Browser/Server model constructs an initial prototype system, designs to verify the feasibility of thinking provides a basis.
