Research Of The Portfolio System Based On Knowledge Management

With the promotion of the quality education, the portfolio has been widely applied in the field of educationa evaluation. Besides evaluating, the portfolio also has functions of knowledge management and promoting students'self-reflection and autonomous learning. The portfolio is being widely used, which conforms to the trend of lifelong learning, and also meets the requirements of knowledge workers in knowledge-based economy era.On the basis of the theories of portfolio and knowledge management, the portfolio system based on knowledge management is designed and established. The research and developing work is mainly carried out in the following aspects:firstly, the author studies the theory of portfolio, which includes the meaning of portfolio and e-portfolio, the characteristics, the function and the classification of e-portfolio; secondly, the theories of education and psychology are introduced, which are the theoretical basis of portfolio system, including the theory of lifelong learning, the theory of multiple intelligences and constructivism learning theory; thirdly, the theory of knowledge management is studied, including the knowledge's definition, classification and transforming procedures, together with the definition and implementation of knowledge management, and then the author puts forward the model of knowledge management of portfolio after focusing on studying the relationship between the five activities in portfolio(storage, evaluation, reflection, communication and practice) and SECI model and "PSCA" closed-loop; Finally, the design schema of the portfolio system based on knowledge management is proposed and implemented.Actually the portfolio system based on knowledge management is a form of web-based e-portfolio, and the portfolio system can support a learner's lifelong learning with the function of recording learning and working process for a long time and knowledge management. The system has six function modules:file management, knowledge management, log management, schedule management, book management and contact management, which supports a learner's activities such as file collection, self-reflection, evaluating and being evaluated and time management.The portfolio system constructed from the perspective of knowledge management has the function of improving a learner's capacity of knowledge management, promoting self-reflection and self-evaluation, so it's of a great significance for a person's lifelong learning.
