Employment has become a hot issue in today's society. Under this macroeconomic circumstance, postgraduates' employment is facing the increasingly fierce competition and the difficulties in employment are gradually emerging. These changes in employment have a strong impact on learning and employment as well as the growth of postgraduates. In order to be more specific and in-depth understanding of postgraduates in employment status of the psychological pressure, this study used questionnaire and interview methods. Collected 930 postgraduates of Nanchang University as the study object. Using self-compiled the "postgraduate employment pressures questionnaire" to investigate and study and use SPSS16.0 for statistical analysis. Extraction 6 postgraduates and 2 mentors as well as counselors and the leader of school employment office for interviews.The results show that: Firstly, the reliability and validity of the self-compiled "postgraduate employment pressures questionnaire" are up to the preparation of requests. Secondly, postgraduates' employment pressure is in the middle level. Thirdly, five dimensions related to postgraduates' employment stressors in the questionnaire, the highest pressure was in personal resources and employment situations. Fourthly, the result of the significance test shows that there exist significant differences on gender, grade, subject categories, the consistency of professional. Fifthly, interviews to some extent confirm the findings of the survey.Based on the research findings, we have proposed the corresponding countermeasures from high schools and teachers as well as individuals.
