Nowadays, the employment difficulty becomes one of potential social problems in China. Meanwhile, as the enrollment of postgraduate expands enormously, the employment situation for postgraduates becomes even more severely. with the enlarger of graduate students enrollment,their employment situation tend to more serious,especially for the female postgraduates, which will have a negative effect on the development of a harmonious society in a long term.Bases on the previous researches, this paper has a further research of this problem, which take the female postgraduates as the research samples. Firstly, I have an overall consolidation of the employment theory of Westerns as well as the Female Employment Theory. Secondly, through questionnaires and individual interviews, I study 11 professional categories of postgraduates at some universities in Hunan to obtain the comprehensive employment information of female graduates. Thirdly, the paper summarizes the results and shows that female postgraduate's employment situation has its own features, such as:gender discrimination, lacking career planning, role conflict, , highly-utilizing of government's policy and social capital and so on. What more, After the research of female employment situation and features, this paper analyses the reasons in five aspects: Economy; Society and Culture; The diversification of labor market; Educational; Individual. Finally, in order to solve these complex problems, with the help of relevant theoretical principles and previous research findings, I propose some recommendations: 1) The government should take fully use of public functions initiatively, such as: creating an equal employment market and booming our economy. 2) Schools should improve the education quality and teach according to the student's ability, guiding students to find jobs flexibly. 3) Individuals should be more realistic and adjust your expectation. Meanwhile, schedule your career development and life planning well. 4) Academies should put more attention on researching the female employment situation, especially the female postgraduate's employment problem. With these efforts, our female graduates will be more competitive of finding a job.
