Research On The Construction Of College Student Association Under The Background Of General Education

With the advent of 21 Century, the higher education in China has stepped into the phase of generalization; college student associations have been developing in a fast and scale-expanding pace, thus playing a positive role in promoting the students'growing up, propelling the quality education's developing, expanding the Communist Youth Leagues'areas of work, and other aspects. However, there are some distinguished problems within the process, mostly including the 'bureaucratic air' among student cadres, unreasonable structure, short life cycle, unsound management system, insufficiently operating expenses, etc.The phenomenon listed above strengthens the need to deepen the research on the construction of college student associations. Consequently, based on what have been established in the academic field about the problem, the current situation of and resolution to the college student associations are analyzed in the vision of general education. Four sections are contained:In the first section, the history research on the college student associations is reviewed at home and abroad. Moreover, it is to make profound analysis and commentary about related literature.In the second section, the relationship between the general education and the college student associations is demonstrated through the definition of each of the two concepts; that, as the mass organizations for students, the college student associations are important platforms to carry out recessively general courses as well as distinctive approaches to realize the general education.In the third section, the actual status quo of college student associations in X University is analyzed, in the context of the university itself, its Youth League Committee, its Student Association Union, and its student associations as well. Along with it comes the perfect state of the college student associations under the background of general education.In the fourth section, the solution to the construction of college student associations education is explored. With the combination of the hidden liberal curriculum theory, the author proposes ideas of strengthening the construction of college student associations in aspect of associations philosophy, association system, association security, association teams and association features etc.
