The modern American homeschool began to rise in 1950s and kept growing with the development of"school choice movement". Having developed for over half a century, now it has reached into a mature state gradually from the seminal state at the beginning with the mature symbol of the legal position obtained in fifty states in America by the homeschool in 1993. With the method of special research on different countries of comparative education and the analysis made to the rise of American Homeschool, this thesis mainly discusses about the crisis of modern school education system in our country so as to put forward the way of the modern school education system in our country.The part of introduction:By analyzing an article posted on the website, the author points out all kinds of complaints towards the current school education from some parents and brings out an education plan that will be implemented by it. Then the author defines the homeschool education, home education and school education separately and compares differences among them by studying the international and domestic literatures. By analyzing literatures related to homeshool education, it obtains the current research state as well as insufficiency of problems like this, which provides directions for further research. In addition, this essay also introduces its own research content and methods.Part two: First, it analyzes four main reasons of the birth of homeschool , to be exactly, anti-mainstream consciousness, suburbanization, faith and the existence of the school; second, it explains guiding thoughts of the homeschool by analyzing the theoretical basis of the birth of the homeschool systematically; finally, it divides the homeschool into four stages in terms of years by combining characteristics of homeschool itself.Part three: the first section introduces the overall development scale in the form of charts; the second section analyzes the current type of homeschool; the third section analyzes characteristics of homeschool from aspects of students and parents ; the fourth section narrates the management of homeschool by the American government; the fifth section states the operation of homeschool;the sixth section states the achievement of homeschool;the seventh section states relevant supporting organizations to the homeschool; the eighth section states the research made to the American homeschool.Part four: It evaluates the American homeschool. The first section states the evaluation made to homeshool education; the second section states the insufficiency existing in the American homeschool; the third section put forward suggestions to the conditions needed to support the success of homeschool.Part Five: It points out the crisis and the way of the modern school education system in our country from the aspect of the American homeschool. The first section states the phenomena that the school has to reform in some aspects promoted by the homeschool; the second section states the necessity of exist and development of homeschool in our country and ways to promote the development of it.
