The Study On Homeschooling In America

Homeschooling in America rose in 20 centuries 50,60's, the scale extended quickly, the position legalized gradually, and approved by more person day by day in the last few years. At present as a kind of form of the choice of education, it has already become a kind of education form which can't be ignored in American education, and the homeschooling taking U.S.A as typical representative educates and practices to move and already spread to other countries as a kind of education free choice sport. With the method of special research on different countries of comparative education, this thesis mainly reviews and analyzes the history of development of homeschooling in America, the social background and educational background, population characteristics, operation conditions, main contents...etc. and compare with current situation of the home education and schooling of Chinese, for the development of basic education of our country to provide enlighten and consult. The preface summarizes the civil and foreign research conditions and illustrates the purpose and significance of this research. The body consists of four chapters: Chapter 1, defined the conception of homeschooling and the history development stages in the United States; Chapter 2, analyzed the economics, politics, the cultural background and educational theories and practical background of homeschooling's rose in American; Chapter 3, introduced the development present condition of American homeschooling includes classifications, corpus, ways, contents, conditions and some issues of the existences; Chapter 4, analyzed the present condition of our country's foundation education, compare with homeschooling in American, put forward some enlightenment.
