After entering the 21st century, the internet, as a very important invention of mankind, is gradually constructing new temporal and spatial dimensions, and enriching the ways of human lives. On one hand, the world of internet provides a new channel for developing moral education in school. On the other hand, the internet seems to bring about a series of problems of demoralization among adolescents. Therefore, the study on internet moral education turns to be an urgent research program of great theoretical and practical significance.However, as the interview investigation shows, the current situation of internet moral education is not optimistic. There is a tendency of manipulation-based model of moral education which is exhibited in four major types:blocking by power, coaxing by "care", threatening by punishment and adjudging by criticism. Internet moral education under such means is reduced to a game of manipulation, where students are treated as objects instead of humankind, and which creates forms but eliminates true morality. There are four reasons for the formation of manipulation model of internet moral education:magnifying the risk of the internet world, being doubtful of the adolescents' moral self, misunderstanding the nature of the internet and transplanting the manipulation-based model used in moral education in the real world.In order to solve the problem of internet moral education and based on theory of moral development and humanism psychology, this thesis proposes the advancing-self-actualization model of internet moral education. Since the fundamental way of moral development is self-actualization and the world of the internet is a moral space in nature, the self-actualization of internet moral is possible. The first step of implementing internet moral education is recognizing the scope of internet moral education. Then educators need to understand the mechanism of moral self-actualization and to focus on the focal point of internet moral education, which is the cultivation of internet moral sensitivity, internet moral judgment and moral identity.On practical aspect, four methods of transforming internet moral education from manipulating to advancing self-actualization models are proposed, which are:training parents on the effectiveness of internet moral education, universalizing philosophy education for children, adopting the morality-inquiry mode of teaching, and applying proper educational games to advancing internet moral self-actualization of the adolescent. These methods are all comprehensive means based on the overall perspective of morality, and will improve the level of internet morality, advance adolescent moral self-actualization, and solve the problem of internet morality among the adolescent thoroughly.
