Reviewing school for another Entrance examination for colleges or universities refers to a behaviour in which those who have taken the test once go back to school for various reasons in order to compete in another Entrance examination for colleges or universities. Thus, those behaving like that are called reviewing school students. Such people are common in our country, especially in the western areas. But up to now, there haven't been much research about the relationship between English language learning anxiety, English academic self-concept and achievement motivation among reviewing school students.To gain an understanding of the relationship between English language learning anxiety, English academic self-concept and achievement motivation among reviewing school students, the researcher here chose students (Senior 3 students & Reviewing school students), altogether 831, from Luxian No.2 and Luxian No.1 High School as a sample and then conducted a survey with the Chinese version of FLCAS, the English academic self-concept questionnaire by Cai Ruiqin and the AMS.The results show that(1) the English language learning anxiety of reviewing school students is on a middle level. It has a significant correlation with school types and gender.(2) the English academic self-concept of reviewing school students is on a lower-middle level. It has an edging correlation with school types and there is a significant interaction effect between school types and gender.(3) the achievement motivation of reviewing school students is on a upper-middle level. It has a significant correlation with school types, major types and class types. There is a significant interaction effect between major types and class types as well as major types and gender.(4) the correlation between English academic self-concept and achievement motivation of reviewing school students is significantly positive. The correlation between English learning anxiety and English academic self-concept is significantly negative. The correlation between achievement motivation and English academic self-concept is significantly negative.
