This paper, through the use of literature, field study method, practice method, interviews, and logic analysis and other research methods, and from the cultural and sociological perspective, choose the creation and dissemination of Bruce Lee's JKD as research object, and started discussion on it.In the creation of JKD, the article choose its historical background and creation process as a starting point, and then from three dimensions of JKD's martial art philosophy, martial art style, martial art spirit to explore its cultural connotations, and further discussded its cultural values.In the dissemination of JKD, the article chosen the means of transmission options that Bruce Lee had used to spread JKD for the entry point, and then focus on studying on JKD's dilemma and value orientation during in the modern situation.It found:Bruce Lee's JKD in the development situation of the modern dissemination has shown the following characteristics:First, there is plausible understanding in the transmission of JKD. second, JKD bogging down in the quagmire of dogmatism during its dissemination process. third, JKD facing the erosion of money worship. the last but not the least, JKD calling the emergence of leaders. In order to meet the needs of the development of modern society, the study also pointed out that the development of Bruce Lee's JKD should foster a "spirit of Bruce Lee's" cultural identity, enhance the cultural appeal and ethnic identity of JKD; develop the educational value of JKD, put JKD into the formal education system; establish a JKD competition system and performance features, bring JKD onto the ring; develop fitness health value of JKD; emancipating the mind, advancing with the times and taking the inheritance and innovation of combining the road.The study also further explore its contribution and inspiration on the development of Chinese martial arts. It concluded that:Bruce Lee's JKD, which, to some extent, break down the imprisonment of Menpai concept of Chinese traditional martial arts, to promote Chinese martial arts to re-face combat and technological innovation and to promote the internationalization of Chinese martial arts to promote road onto the far-reaching implications. The study also considered the great success of Bruce Lee's JKD has an important role in the ideological inspiration Martial Arts of China's modern heritage, development and innovation.In the end, the article pointed out that:as the world's cultural become more and more diversity today, we have studied the arts of Bruce Lee's JKD, which, still has a good theoretical and practical significance on JKD itself to inherit and spread, Chinese martial arts to rejuvenate and promote, as well as China's outstanding traditional culture to flourish and develop.
