| Patriotism is the deepest emotion of the people to their motherland for thousands of years and the unity of their ascription, the approbation, the dignity and the honor to their motherland. It reflects personal interpendant relation on their motherland. It regulates moral request, political principle and legal relation between people and their motherland.First, in the theoretical chapters of the thesis, starting from the analysis of the position of patriotism education in political education of new stage, the important functions of patriotic education is expatiated. It can boost up national coagulation and centripetal force, help to stabilize political and economic development. It can bring honor to the advanced culture of our country, guard the cultural sovereignty of Chinese nation. It can help us understand the history and the reality correctly, set up the national self-respect, self-confidence and the consciousness to strive to improve oneself. It can make people to become the honest patriots struggling for the country's independence and prosperity. Therefore, the patriotism education has important position in ideological and political education in new era.In the observational and studying chapters, the constructional status quo of Gansu patriotism education bases is studied and analyzed from their distributions, evolution, reservation, construction and management. The functions the bases play are studied from visiting flux, time, colony, content and message. The conclusion is therefore drawn in bases'construction, function, management and facilities. The problems of the bases are brought forward in finance, management, personnel, facilities and reservation.Finally, in the strategic chapters of the paper, based on the above analysis, the strategies as how to enhance ideological and political education functions of the bases are discussed. The resources of Gansu patriotism education should be further developed and employed in historical resource, unique culture, natural resource, folk culture, red resource and revolutionary culture. Successful experiences of the domestic and foreign patriotism education base construction should be learned. The construction and management of Gansu patriotism education bases should be improved through integration, agglomeration of resources and forces of government, society and the private sector by adherance to the close principle and self-construction. The educational functions of Gansu patriotism education bases should be strengthened through promotion of traditional culture and cultivation of national spirit, insistence of social benefits, innovative education forms and the functions of radiational community services. |
