This paper takes preschool-teacher's educational behaviors as the content. The author systemically analyzes the concrete examples in collective teaching activities and uses the qualitative approach to research the concept of child—a basic theoretical question of preschool education. Through out investigating teachers, children and the processes of teaching, the researcher comes to analyze some usual and typical cases happened in collective teaching activities and tries to explore the teacher's connotative concept of child which is reflected by those educational behaviors. Based on this, the author sums up characters of the teachers'conception and factors that affect the formation of such concept. In the last part of the paper, there are some suggestions and introspections.This research is divided into four parts.The first part is the preface. It starts from the realistic circumstances and researches of preschool education theory, and meanwhile elaborates the importance of teacher's concept of child. Through hackling the present researches about the concept of child and teacher's concept of child and collecting relevant materials about teacher's educational behavior, the author analyzes the present situation of the concept of child and gets the researching purpose. There are five aspects of this researching process, including the determination of research purpose, the illustration of research questions, the selection of research method and objects and the credibility of the research. At the same time, some related conceptions are defined and the operational definition is also explained.In the second part, the author explores the connotative concept of child and describes the real situation of teacher's concept of child on the basis of observing and interviewing teacher's educational behavior in collective activities.In the third part, basing on the present research of teacher's concept of child, the author analyzes characters of teacher's concept of child and discusses three factors that affect the formation of such concept.At the last part, the researcher puts forward some corresponding strategies for those problems which exist in teacher's concept of child. Finally, the researcher has introspection to the deficiency that exists in the researching process.
