The term"statistical anxiety"was firstly mentioned by foreign researchers. Since early-20th Century, statistics has been set up as a required course of almost all majors in universities in the western countries. However, researches on statistical anxiety did not start until the 1970s. During the past forty years, a lot of results of research on statistical anxiety had been continuously released. Meanwhile, some of the results were very creative and far-reaching. The majority of research results showed that statistical anxiety had a multi-dimensional structure. And statistical anxiety has a negative impact on students'academic performance.The purpose of this paper was to study the dimensionality of the statistical anxiety of the pre-service teachers in China, and to measure the statistical level of the pre-service teachers. First, we developed a statistical anxiety rating scale table appropriate for our national conditions. In addition, the paper has studied the effect of statistical anxiety on pre-service teachers. Finally, based on the survey results the paper has put forward some concrete suggestions for pre-service teachers and the statistical result of the two tables indicated our developed table is available, on the other hand, the result show that the statistical anxiety levels of the pre-service teachers and future statistics education. The concrete research results of the paper are as follows:Then, based on data collected from the table and combined with interview results, we have studied the dimension of statistical anxiety of pre-service teachers in China. The research result showed that the statistical anxiety of pre-service teachers in China has three dimensions: tests anxiety, ask-for-help anxiety, and explanation anxiety.Meanwhile, via data obtained from the table, we have examined the statistical anxiety of the special population pre-service teachers. The examined result showed that the overall statistical anxiety level of the pre-service teachers is not high, but the situation is not optimistic.Finally, we analyzed the impact factor of statistical anxiety and implemented some feasible interference on research results and gave instruction on the prevention of statistical anxiety.
