Development of the times to promote changes in education, in order to train person with ability in line with the request of modern, the education reforms are in the ongoing all over the world, and the New Curriculum in China is one of them. The transformation of education is beginning to the textbooks. As the New Curriculum, the mathematics textbooks in senior middle school are changed. The knowledge of three-dimensional geometry is important to raise the ability of student's spatial imagination and logical thinking etc. the content of three-dimensional geometry is compared between the RenJiao version new textbook and the old one. By comparing teachers can be in-depth understanding the essence of the new curriculum reform and the advantages of the new textbooks, fully grasping the changes of textbooks. In class teaching, the student's spatial imagination ability and logical thinking ability is trained, in order to enables the students the better understanding humanity survival realistic space, unifies the knowledge and the life practice, thus improve various ability and quality. Therefore, this article research has certain practical significance.In this paper, it is compared that the ideas of writing textbooks, content change, class time requirements, structure arrangements, graphics, layout design, material, examples and exercises of three-dimensional geometry between the new and old textbook by the method of comparison, survey procedure, interview and statistic. By comparing the old and new textbooks, it is understood deeply that the changes of textbooks and the request of the new curriculum reform. Further, the advices are given to make the students understand the knowledge adequately.Hope that the research in this paper can provide reference for the math teacher in senior middle school in three-dimensional geometry class teaching, can help to improve the abilities of students and bring up the person with ability to suit for time development.
