Weak schools are those schools which are relatively poor in teaching conditions,which are relatively low in the term of quality of education and also have relatively low social reputation in a particular area at the basic educational stage. Weak schools are relatively poor in the following aspects: teaching conditions, teachers'level, school management, the quality of the resource of new students, therefore a good strategy is urgent needed to better them to eliminate the gaps among schools.Based on elaborating the concepts and characteristics of weak school, this artical analyzes the current situation and cause of the weak school on basis of the HaiBoWanOu railway elementary school, Qianlishan middle school, No.8 middle school. It tells us the reasons that these schools became weak are diffrent but the end was near.That is to say are lack of a collective leadership which is qualified of running a school and understanding theteaching mothod. And these school are also lack teachers' team assiduously and optimistic upward student group. This article proposed several strategies such as increasing the invesment in education,inproving the level of collective leadership, rising the professional level of teaching staff and taking care of the changing of the weak students so as to improve the weak school of Haibowanqu.By doing the research on transformation of the weak schools in Hainowan district in the city of Wuhai, the essay provides some strategies of improvement. Hopefully it has some reference value and can make a contribution to better the weak schools in our region.
