Studies have demonstrated that early childhood is critical period to form the ability of correct gender role. This paper drawing on the basis of previous studies, selected a total of 40 children aged 4-6.Test use familiar animated image of children as experimental material and the natural experiment as the main research method. This is a two-stage experiment. The first stage is to material selection .In second phase the test check on the child characteristics of gender role identity in detail, in-depth excavation by identity the sex of animated image .The value of this research is: from theoritical sense, through the use of animated images as experimental material to children of 4-6 years old ,the study will not only help expanding child gender role theory and early childhood education theory ,which will give a more solid theoretical foundation for children's development,,but also help to fill the blank of media sector in the the impact of animated image in child care,in this specific field.From the practical sense, education for the children sex role opens a new road, but also it provids a psychological theory basis for the production of suitable children's cartoons.The results show that:1.There is no differences in ages and genders in infant sex identify;2.Infant gender role preference exist differences in gender, boys and prefer male animated image, meanwhile, there is no significant preference for girls;3.Children of different grades and different sexes have significant difference in a positive evaluation and negative evaluation dimension;4.There was significant difference in a positive evaluation and negative evaluation dimension, and children tend to a positive evaluation;5.Different grades have significant differences in external quality, internal quality has significant differences;6.in the external quality preschool classes and internal quality dimensions, and there were significant differences in kindergarten children don't exist significant differences, 7.Children of different sexes have significantly differences in the external and internal quality dimensions;8.Children the exist significant differences in the external and internal quality dimensions and child tend to choose external quality.
