The Analysis On The "Hostility To The Rich" In Contemporary China

At the beginning of the reform and the opening, with the notion of the "letting some people get better off earlier"was raised by Deng xiao ping, quantities of the high income stratum appearred in our country, this rich stratum broght the the Matthew effect which made the rich became richer and the poor became poorer, the tense relationship between rich and poor becoming worse. In early time, though the phenomenon of the hostility was existed in our country, with the social transition in China go into quicken date, the distance between rich and poor of the social stratum was expanded and the distribution of the interest of the social stratum was unbalanced, the stratum get better of formed earlier in society made the disadvantaged groups felt the interest of themselves was broken, which they got negative unbalance of the mentality that produced a series of bad feelings of envy and unsatisfaction, so the behaviour of hostility happened in recent years became more and more serious, this social problem became a focus to be pay attention to by people. The hostility to the rich is a social morbid mentality which evoked by the greatly disparate of the economical status and a contradictory or hostile mentality of the poor to the rich and a excessive agitated expression of the poor with their mentally unbalance, this mentality can bring the bad influnce to the poor and is a unstable factor for the harmonious society and prevent the development of the social economy. The paper is to review and introduce the theory of the hostility to the rich first, and tries to unite the related theory of the hostility to analize further the deep reasons of the emergence and the existence of the hostility by the present research of the internal scholar about recent social hostility to the rich in China. The paper reviewed the accumulative process of the hostility to the rich of our nation from history angle, clarified how the low total level of our national productive force affect the hostility to the rich from ecnomic angle, analyzed the unbalance of getting the social resources and the lack of the morality of rich and the factor of the social structure are deep reasons of the emergence of social hostility to the rich from social angle, discussed the leak of the law system from institution angle, from mentality angle, the unbalance of the mentality of the "feeling of relative deprivation" made the poor felt seriously frustrated, the contrast of the material life among individuals and the unbalance of the social status and the discrimunation of the social service are made the emergence of the hostility to the rich easily. The third part narrated the conduct of the hostility out of the mentality of the hostility to the rich, and this mentality affected the people who was hostiled by others, the people who have hostility, politics, economy and society. The fouth part put forward the measures of dispelling the hostility to the rich from five aspects, include economic angle, the improvement of qualities of the people who have hostility and the rich stratum, the optimization of the institution and the social structure. The final part summed up the problem about the hostility to the rich and the solving of this social problem is helpful for the sustained healthy development of our economic civilization, political civilization, legal civilization and spiritual civilization, the superiority of the socialism will be better reflect, it has the important practical significance for the structure of our harmonious society.
