Since reforming and opening, especially the change from The Planned Economy to The Market Economic system one hand, a rapid development of economic, China among the top ranks of the world. The gross domestic product reached39.7trillions in2010, increased of13times than in1978, the average annual growth increased of nearly10%. To achieve the basic from food and clothing to well-off span, and forward to higher levels of comparatively well-off. On the other hand, since the beginning of reform and opening up policy, let one part of person turn rich、first rich driving after rich, delineation of Special Economic Zone, the eastern coastal areas、cities turn rich, with the geographical advantages and preferential policies of national. This creates the unbalanced development between areas、cities and countryside. After the reform and opening up, The gap between urban and rural areas is1.82to1in1983, but after that, the gap continued to expand, in2010, it is reached to3.23to1. The unbalance of economic development, each social stratum have different degrees of social resources, the phenomenon of social stratum differentiation more and more obvious. The students come from different areas and different families also indirectly effected by the social stratum differentiation, in the school also showing different characteristics. This gives a challenge for ideological and political education, it can not adhere to the indoctrinating teaching way and standstill. We must adhere to the student oriented and daring to try a new way, we must find a way that the rich and poor college students love to accept. This will solve the existing problems among college students, raising the effect of ideological and political education. This paper is mainly divided into five parts:The first part (foreword), mainly brief summary the necessity of the research of rich students, and introduced the significance of this subject research.The second part (studies review), due to the research of the rich and the poor college students is less, so the study main summary the ideological and political education of college students under the background of class differentiation in recent years. Elaborated the present situation of class differentiation、social stratum differentiation on the impact of college students、ideological and political education.The third part (the background of social class distinctions), from the social stratum differentiation process, summarized the stratification of the status quo, and put forward the social stratum differentiation trend. The fourth part (the influence of the social stratum differentiation to the rich、poor college students and the reason), analyzed in detail:in terms of personal background、 school life、ideological and psychological characteristics、employment prospects. Summary the present situations, about the poor and the rich college students., Then analyzed the reason.The fifth part (the rich and the poor college students’ Ideological and Political education countermeasures under the background of the social stratum differentiation), mainly in the social stratum differentiation as the background, in-depth and comprehensive study to improve the effect of ideological and political education.The innovation of this paper is to seize the two groups to study, in the course of the study can be found their similarities and differences. Ideological and political education countermeasure proposed more targeted, avoid the malpractice of inculcation and integral education.
