Occupational Mobility Status Analysis Of Floating Population

With the transformation of Chinese society and the pace of urbanization, the development of our national economic and educational level increase,. The floating population changed into more and more diverse groups. The floating population has become a big social group. They were developing in the city base on vector. In this paper we use the aspect that the occupational mobility of floating population to reveal the current situation that how floating people live and the factors that what influence their changing of occupation.One of the central China's city Taiyuan, as the provincial capital city of great province of energy resources, it has there owe attraction and attracts the floating population from the whole country. In other aspect for the central China's city it is more attract for inter-province mobilization than other provinces. In this paper, integrating the regional characteristics of Taiyuan Y community, we use interview method, questionnaires method, and statistical method to analyzing the general causes of the problem to Taiyuan Y Community for characteristic of mobile population to occupational mobility. Floating population is not "Pleasant Worker" on traditional meaning.they are more and more is practitioner for pursuit of high quality.Occupational mobility presents that parts of the type of work has a strong fluidity and the occupational status of the first occupational'mobility increase obviously,however the occupational status of the again occupational mobility is hard to increase. In the process of occupational mobility, the occupational mobility of the floating population exists the problems of government administration, individual lifting, individual safeguard rights, fluidity congestion etc. The reasons are not only the restriction of social system, but also the lack of floating population individual's human capital and social capital. The human capital have directly influence the decision of occupational mobility.In this process, the human capital is more important than the social capital. When the same population of human capital selected occupational mobility, social capital plays a more role significant. Household registration system, employment system and social security system constitute the resultant force of the system which can promote the floating population reasonable occupational mobility or hinder it.It has an important significance to research occupational mobility of the mobile population for social harmony and stability. We must notice that the complexity and the profound of floating population, than we can establish good social and humane living environment in the complex social environment.
